Responsibilities:
• Ensures early involvement from SQM and suppliers, guarantee the Maturity Evaluation availability.
o Guarantee the nomination from one SQM for each new component, ensure the Supplier
Component review execution and in-time sourcing decision.
• Ensures quality status feedback to project team and guarantee in time release of new components.
• Guarantee hand-over to SQM Plants.
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with preferably minimum 2 years supplier quality management experience.
• Prior experience in quality management role or project management role.
• Good experience in quality systems, process audits (VDA) and part qualification.
o Understanding of industrial practices such as APQP/FMEA/Ishikawa/TS16949 is highly preferred.
o Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people, including suppliers and customers.
o Able to work independently and travel frequently within Asia.
o English and Mandarin communication skills.
