Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of the defined supplier quality management system (procedures, guidelines and tools), to ensure the requested quality in line with the defined purchasing strategies in order to meet the cost and productivity targets.
• Execution of supplier evaluations and assessments to support the cross-functional supplier selection team with the required quality data.
• Design, initiation and control of preventive quality management measurements in the design and development phase for supplied parts and service to ensure that our products meet the quality requirements defined.
• Support in identification and evaluation of technological trends in collaboration with advanced purchasing to maintain the competitiveness of our products.
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with preferably minimum 3 years supplier quality management experience.
• Experience with details of wafer fabrication processes is mandatory.
• Good experience in quality systems, process audits (VDA) and part qualification.
o Understanding of industrial practices such as APQP/FMEA/Ishikawa/TS16949 is highly preferred.
o Able to lead/facilitate process improvements and supplier’s development.
o Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people, including suppliers and customers.
o Able to work independently and travel frequently within Asia.
o English and Mandarin communication skills.
