Description
We’re looking for an experienced journalist and editor with a passion for
eSports and video games to lead an exciting new team in our newsroom.
•Creating clear, detailed editorial coverage plans
•Organizing editorial calendar and scheduling staff accordingly
•Managing an in-house team of journalists and freelance contributors from
across the globe
•Occasionally writing feature stories, spot news, and analysis
•Reviewing editorial output and data analytics to ensure content is meeting
users’ needs
•Occasionally working weekends, evenings, and very early mornings (overseas
events)

Qualifications
•Minimum of five years’ experience in journalism or media
•Irrefutable knowledge and passion of League of Legends, Dota 2, and other
eSports
•Strong knowledge of the state of modern digital journalism, social media, and
mobile computing
•Ability to confidently make immediate editorial judgments in a fast-paced
environment
•Ability to write and edit in a modern, creative style
•Experience leading a team preferred
