Super Falcons drawn in a “Group of Death” in FIFA Women World Cup

The draws for the 8^th FIFA Women’s World Cup finals has was carried out on Saturday, 8^th December, 2019 and the Super Falcons (Nigerian women senior football team) has been drawn in Group A (a group that they love to hate). They are to face France (the host country), Norway and Korea Republic.

According to some of the football analysts who spoke to Dutable, they referred to Group A which has Nigeria, France, Norway and Korea Republic as the “Group of Death”. While some believe that the Super Falcons need step up their game by approaching the tournament with a winner’s mentality; since they are the current African Champions.

The 2019Women FIFA World Cup which is the 8^th Women FIFA World Cup draws which has been schedule to take place from 7^th June to 7^thJuly, 2019 in nine different cities in France was carried out at the La Seine Musicale on the River Seine in the French capital Paris in a very grand and colourful ceremony on Saturday 8^th December, 2018.

The tournament which will see twenty (24) country vie for honours next year in France will commence by an opening match between France and the Koreans at the Parc des Princes, Paris on 7^th June, 2019.

The Nigerian senior women’s team, the Super Falcons will play their first match against Norway on 8^th June, 2019 at Reims, while their second match will be against Korea Republic on 12^th June, 2019 at Grenoble and their last group match will be against France the host country on 17^thJune, 2019 at Rennes.
