Position: Gardener
Organization: Summerside Horticultural Services
Location: Stittsville / Ottawa West, Ontario
I am looking for a full time gardener with experience for the 2015
season (April to November).
This is a small gardening and landscaping business whose business is
mostly gardening, with some lawn care, arboriculture and
installations. Compensation is de
pendant on experience, skillset and
initiative. Salary ranges from $12-$18 per hour.
Candidate Requirements:
• at least one year professional experience in gardening/landscaping
and/or horticulture diploma/certificate
• valid, clean class G driver’s license (own vehicle an asset;
operation of a manual transmission also an asset)
• strong work ethic, physically able to lift 30lbs or more and good
customer service skills
• interest in golf course maintenance is also an asset
Candidate Duties:
• working independantly, as well as with a team
• raking, cultivatiing, mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, digging,
sodding, mulching. Some hardscaping.
