Our client is an icon in the energy space and is currently establishing one of Australia’s largest capital infrastructure projects to meet the global demand for cleaner energy. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide health and safety advice and training across the construction of the pipeline project while assisting in the development of HSE policies and practices. You will ensure all relevant legislative acts and regulations are adhered to and are in alignment with safety, reliability and quality standards. You will complete hazard and risk assessments, incident investigation, audits and training campaigns while ensuring contractor compliance across the project. A detailed position description will be available to shortlisted applicants.
The requirements to be considered for these roles are as follows:
• HSE qualifications from a recognised institution – Tertiary qualifications looked upon favourably
• Demonstrated experience acting in a similar capacity across large scale Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Heavy Industrial projects (essential)
• Sound knowledge of HSE issues relating to major construction projects
• A thorough understanding of permit to work systems, working at heights, excavation and trenching, occupational health monitoring, security and waste management
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster longstanding relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• The flexibility and desire to work on a rotational roster to site
You will be greeted with an opportunity to work within a technically challenging yet supportive culture and play a key role across a world class project. If you are delivery focused and eager to build upon your current skill set, this role will pose the perfect opportunity to mould your career while enjoying genuine flexibility and financial rewards.
