They are truly a global leader in both the operations they run, and in the technology and mining techniques they employ. They are currently seeking a Mining Engineer to play a key role their open cut operations in Western Australia.
Your typical duties in this role include, but are not limited to:
• Design and implement drill and blast plans
• Short term mine planning
• Liaison with production personnel, engineers and the client to achieve load and haul plan
• Educate and involve supervisors in weekly planning meetings
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
To be successful in this role you must have:
• Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering
• 2+ years experience in open cut mining operations
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong self motivation and enthusiasm
This role is offered on a residential basis or an 8/6 FIFO roster. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package. You will gain exposure to some of the finest mining systems and be working for a major player in Australia’s mining industry.
