is aligned with one of Australia’s leading civil construction contractors and
is currently seeking the skills of a talented Construction

Manager.
The position will report to the Project Manager on a major upstream oil and gas
project which is due to commence in April 2012.

To be considered for this Construction Manager position you will ideally
possess;

Previous construction management
experience on $200m+ civil infrastructure projects
Exposure to HDPE pipeline projects
(water or gas) with knowledge of associated trenching and polypipe welding
Broad experience across earthworks
and concrete including roads and dams
Demonstrated success in managing
projects within cost and time
Excellent communication,
leadership and stakeholder management skills
Commercial acumen with a keen eye
for detail regarding contractual and financial issues
Demonstrated performance in
driving project productivity in line with the master schedule
The ability to integrate diverse
work groups including subcontractors
Genuine commitment to health,
safety and environmental compliance

Given the project timeframes it is intended that interviews will be completed
in January with a view to commencement in late February or early March. If the
ideal candidate is available more readily this can also be facilitated.
