Will be responsible for leading and managing a team that provides
primary support on the core application systems in the bank ensuring maximum

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or
related field, Knowledge of systems management, development and implementation
methods, Knowledge of the bank’s core business, Strong supervisory skills, 3
yrs experience in an IT related field 2 of which must be at supervisory level,
Banking/financial, industry experience would be an added advantage,
Interpersonal communication and teamwork skills, Strong analytical skills
coupled with the ability to think logically

application systems, Identifying shortcomings of systems and implement
solutions, Ensure the efficient operations of the Applications Support unit,
Ensure tall after hours support is provided in line with Service Level
Agreements, Monitor user activity on key Applications/Peripheral systems, Carry
out thorough tests on software/change requests, Implement change requests on
LIVE and DR systems, Carry out month End/Year End test runs, Maintain
appropriate security levels on the bank’s application systems, Periodically
review efficiency of applications/peripherals
