Duties and Routine Responsibilities:
The Medical Director is responsible for the organization and smooth implementation and supervision of all clinical activities (curative, preventive, promotive and rehabilitative) of the hospital, for the respect of policies and norms related to standards of clinical practice, hygiene and for the medio-legal aspects of health care.
S/he should be responsible for all medical staff and allied professionals both junior and senior to him/her in the line of professional seniority and/or expertise; S/he shares with other members of the Management Team the overall responsibility of managing the Hospital and the corporate accountability to the Board of Governors .
Qualification and experience:
The applicant shall fulfill the following requirements:
• a degree in medicine
• a degree in public health is an asset
• at least 5 years of clinical experience
• strong managerial and communication skills
• be ready to work in line with the catholic principles
