mentioned to a condom or diaphragm or by insertion if it is foaming tablets.

When not to use spermicides
i.           
When you feel irritation of the vagina from
spermicides
ii.           
If there is a need to avoid pregnancy due to
medical reasons

If the woman is having vagina infection or
having excessive white discharges
How to use spermicides
1.         Foam
a.     Put the applicator over the
nozzle of the tube after your shake the tube very well.
b.     till the applicator to
depress the nozzle and fill the marking with foam
c.     as you lie down, insert the
applicator filled with marked foam into the vagina as for as it will go before
you start feeling pains
d.     push the plunger, roll it
back slightly to release the foam and remove the applicator.
2          Tablet
a.     Insert one or more tablet
deep into the vagina as far as it will go.
b.     Wait 7-10 minutes to allow
the tablet dissolve before sexual intercourse.
3 Cream or jelly
i.           
Screw the applicator to open
ii.           
Squeeze the tube until marking is filled with
the applicator
iii.           
Deeply insert the applicator into the vagina
iv.           
Push on the plunger to release the cream or applicator
v.           
Jelly and remove the applicator.

Note
·        
if you are having more than one round of sex
more spermicide should be applied at each round of sexual intercourse
·        
if intercourse did not take place one hour after
application, repeat application of spermicide
·        
If intercourse did not take place then after
application, repeat application of spermicide
·        
Spermicide should not be exposed to negative
temperature (hot atmospheric condition) rather in a cool dry place
·        
Wash your hand neatly immediately after
application.
What to do
·        
Report any irritation of the vagina or penis.
·        
Report any whitish discharge or P.I.D (pelvic
inflammatory disease to your service provider.
Follow-up
Always replace the used spermicide if you choose
that as your means of family planning.
