It mainly deals with meal production and marketing activities. The company is managed by a Board of Directors made up of 5 members elected for a three-year term of office. The daily management of the Company is entrusted to the Managing Director appointed by the Board of Directors.
The company is composed of three departments, namely the Production and Quality Control Department, Sales and Marketing Department and Administrative and Financial Department. Today, it has 36 permanent staff members.
The company would like to recruit the Head of Administrative and Financial Department under the following requirements:
Duration : Renewable two-year period;
Monthly salary : RWF 560,000;
Other incentives : – Medical care covered by RAMA for the employee and his/her family;
– Outcome bonus in case of benefit.
I. Major Attributions:
1. Ensure the implementation of the management policy for material, financial and human resources of SOSOMA Industries Ltd and formulate sound recommendations for its improvement;
2. Ensure the implementation of the Corporate General Accounting Plan and formulate sound recommendations for its improvement;
3. Check and sign the company accounting vouchers;
4. Prepare within the established time frame the Company periodic and annual financial statements;
5. Implement the Staff Regulations in staff management and formulate sound recommendations for its improvement;
6. Take part in the development of the Company operational and business plans;
7. Ensure that the Company complies with all tax and employer obligations according to provisions existing in the country;
8. Ensure the implementation of the Corporate General Accounting Plan and formulate sound recommendations for its improvement;
9. Prepare tender documents for the purchase of the Company goods and services and supervise the contract awarding process;
10. Stamp all purchase requisitions to ensure that there is necessary budget for such requisitions;
11 Check monthly sales, expense and expenditure reports, as well as payrolls.
II. Required Profile
• Hold at least Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Management, Accounting, or in other related fields
• Have at least 6-year work experience, preferably in industrial businesses;
• Have at least 5-year experience as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative and Financial Officer or in another position with related responsibilities;
• Be able to work as part of a team;
• Have proven writing skills;
• Have sound organizational capabilities;
• Be computer literate: Excel, Word, and Commercial and Accounting Management Sage Software Package;
• Be honest and with proven integrity;
• Be fluent in Kinyarwanda, French and English;
• Show courtesy and good manners;
• Have driving license, Class B, ACCA or CPA Certificate, be in the last year of related training would be an added value.
