Snow Farms is looking for seasonal help with our fall harvest. We are
a 70 acre certified organic vegetable farm that grows and sells 35
items for the wholesale market.
Duties include harvesting, washing, grading and packing various types
of produce. Product is palletized for shipment. Most of the product is
transported to the packing shed from other locations, so a valid
driver’s license is an asset.
Successful ca
ndidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced
environment in which priorities may change on short notice. Good
physical fitness is necessary and work will occur in all types of
weather. Attention to detail is extremely important and basic
record-keeping skills are required. Must be able to lift at least 40
pounds. Most work is done in group situations, but the ability to work
alone may be required from time to time.
Starting pay is $13.00 per hour. Current work schedule is 9 hrs per
day, five days per week. Some weekend work may be required, depending
on the weather. Can pick up from nearby bus stop, if needed.
