Brisbane, notably Brisbane South, Brisbane East and Brisbane North, out client
is seeks an experienced teacher capable of leading a large senior mathematics
faculty.  Offering a top level PAR remuneration package,  the school
seeks mathematics teachers who are either poised to take on their first faculty
leadership role or who have already been successful in leading large mathematics
faculty.  You will demonstrate excellent subject, curriculum and
assessment knowledge in senior secondary mathematics along with the ability to
effective lead a team of high performing mathematics teachers.   This
position will commence in January 2016 and be full time permanent.

About You:

The school is
looking for an enthusiastic  mathematics  teacher who is
confident delivering the curriculum outcomes and planning outstanding lessons
that engage and extend the students. Experience teaching mathematics to
senior ABC levels or equivalent in an Australian school is preferred;
however graduates are welcome to apply. This opportunity is open to
overseas-trained teachers. You will need to meet the following criteria:

• Be
  eligible to work in Australia
• Be
  qualified to teach Secondary (specialised in Mathematics)
• Be
  familiar with the Australian National Curriculum and QCAA
• Be
  capable of teaching to contemporary pedagogical frameworks
• Possess
  valid references, police clearances and be registered or eligible for
  registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
