• Aggressive exploration program underway
• Project compilation, validation of exploration data
This position will give you exposure to iron ore and uranium with this growing exploration company
The main purpose of the role is to provide support to the exploration and management team
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Maintenance of geological database
• QA/QC, updating assay data
• Provision of data to geological staff
• Provision of data visualisation when required using MapInfo software to generate maps, plans and cross sections
• Liaison with geology staff on issues relating to data capture and management, including the Development of data capture templates and validation routines
• Liaison with contractors on outsourcing issues (data capture, software/hardware management).
Experience and qualifications required for this role:
• Completed a BSc degree
• Demonstrated expertise with database and GIS systems.
• Excellent knowledge of SQLServer and Datashed
• Computer literacy and experience of MapInfo
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to work unsupervised
• Attention to detail
• Professional, flexible and friendly
• Good work ethic
A salary of between $80,000 – $120,000 + Super is available for this role with salaries outside of this range considered for exceptional candidates.
