Draftsmen

Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering background like BSc
• Must be draftsmen, not project engineer, project engineer
• Minimum experience drafting with 3D Cad, Inventor 3 years OR Inventor 1 year and 2 years of Solidworks.
More experience is better
– Fluent in English, speaking, reading and writing
– Office computer minimum : very good in Excel and Word

• Extra’s to look for:
– Experience with AutoCad
– Experience with ASME piping and Pressure vessel
– Experience with internals
– Experience with sheet metal
– Working (drafting) experience at a fabrication plant , not only at engineering companies
– Experience in Oil & Gas company
– iLogic (preferred) and VBA
– Knowledge / experience of FEA (finite elements analyses) and general strength and stress calculations
• And a good working attitude, willing to work hard, make extra hours when needed (incl. weekend), willing to travel away from family for some time (e.g. for training in NL)
• ASCOM will send engineers for training the 1st six month on tour by tour base (e.g. every 1 or 2 month swap trainer engineer).
• Propose to start with 2 more experienced engineers, than later we can add cheaper new fresh from school. Otherwise it is going to take too long to get speed in Kuantan engineering.
