With almost 300 staff spread across a number of sites our client is one of the leading IT service providers throughout the UK. The client is currently growing and are focused on building their software team over the next few months.
Job Role:
The role of SharePoint Software Developer will involve working as part of a project team in the delivery and on-going maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 solutions, as well as solutions built around the companies Enterprise Framework. All software development takes place within a quality oriented environment working to industry standard development methodologies and controls.
Responsibilities will include:
• Provision of Requirements Capture
• Specification & Design
• Development & Unit Testing
• Quality Assurance
• Systems Implementation
• Investigation, diagnosis and resolution of incidents raised by customers and in line with service level agreements
• Provision of advice on, and resolution of, underlying problems in systems
Experience and skill set requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in .NET software development
• Experience of using several of the following technologies:
o SharePoint 2010
o C#
o ASP.NET
o Silverlight
o SQL Server 2008
o Microsoft Visual Studio / Team Foundation Server
• Relevant degree with a result of 2:1 or above
