We have an opportunity for a Service Engineer, based in Singleton, to carry out all day to day service, maintenance and/or installation activities within our Industry Solutions division.
What are my responsibilities?
• Carry out service with minimal supervision ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards.
• Effectively satisfy the customer’s needs for Preventative Maintenance , any updates/upgrades, corrective service, installations and/or workshop repairs in accordance with business contractual obligations (contract obligations or billing policy) .
• Timely completion of Service Reports with good liaison with the Siemens Customer Care Centre, management, sales, marketing and/or customers ensuring current location and job status is communicated back to SCCC.
• Comply with all Occupational Health & Safety policies, service escalation procedures and that all customer requests, complaints and comments communicated to the jobholder are passed to the relevant department for action.
• To maintain personal knowledge of safety instructions and operational procedures and participate in training courses including ‘self learning’, computer based and ‘on the job’ training.
• To ensure that all tools and test equipment issued to job holder are properly maintained, calibrated and all company assets are kept safe and secure at all times. Inspect and check issued safety equipment on a monthly basis.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Trade Diploma, industry technologies knowledge accompanied with relevant compliance licenses.
• Experience within a service business focusing on relevant industry technologies.
• Experience in service, maintenance and/or installation activities on relevant technologies.
• Experience with taking a lead service engineer role on relevant projects.
• Experience in instrumentation including AC variable speed drives, Programmable Logic Controllers and high voltage drives.
• Experience with Siemens Sibas 32 and AC Haul Trucks would be beneficial
• Experience in team collaboration
• Drivers license is required
