You will be a fully qualified accountant/auditor with experience within one of the ‘big 4’ accountancy firms, or one of the big financial services companies (preferably retail banking) with a sound academic background.
Candidates must have an up to date working knowledge of reporting standards and of current IT auditing techniques.
The role will involve leading and performing independent reviews of the efficiency and effectiveness of controls across business processes, to report areas of deficiency and to make a significant positive contribution to the improvement of the controls.
The successful candidate will need to be a strong communicator who is able to quickly grasp an understanding of complex processes while demonstrating commercial awareness, drive and enthusiasm. Also essential is the ability to build professional relationships across all levels and a willingness to learn and positively contribute to the team.
