Job Title: Senior Completions Engineer Department: Exploration and Production
Location: Kampala
Responsibilities/ Key Objective:
– Develop and optimize testing and completion designs, with key G&G plus Engineering staff.
– Analyze performance associated with testing & completion activities and identify potential improvements.
– Manage and supervise the in-country completion work, this includes all sick or rig-less intervention.
– Prepare the requisition for the completion and artificial list work; keep control of the in-country stock and inventory.
– Participate in the technical evaluation for all completion, artificial and well head equipment, make recommendations.
– Assure the technical integrity of the existing well stock by applying the well integrity management system and managing well interventions.
Experience and Education:
– Knowledge of industry normal practices associated with testing, work-over, wire-line and completion operations, as well as control techniques.
– The engineering criteria associated with the well construction and operations planning, completion testing and production.
– Knowledge of production technology issues to be addressed when developing completion designs.
– Familiar with API & other recognized industry standards and recommended practices.
– Experienced in the use of the key software packages utilized in completion engineering.
– Engineering degree or equivalent.
