Training Home Society is a Gumare based Non-Governmental Organization that
exists to provide rehabilitation, stimulation and advocacy for children with
disabilities in the Okavango Sub district. The centre invites suitably

DEPUTY COORDINATOR,

MAIN
DUTIES
•Assist the Coordinator to manage the day to day running of the Centre under the
supervision of the Board of Directors and care taker Ministries of Health and
Education & Skills Development,
•Assist the Coordinator on the supervision of staff, programmmes’
implementation, monitoring and evaluation,
•Implement and manage The Policy Guidelines for Financial Support to Non
Governmental Organizations,
•Ensures strict adherence to Government Financial and Policy Guidelines,
•Align programmes and project activities to those of caretaker Ministries of
Health and Education & Skills Development and/ or other funders/ donors,
•Assist on fund raising activities as directed by the Board of Directors,
•Prudent financial management and production of reports on Centre expenditures
to Board of Directors, donors and caretaker Ministries of Health and Education
& Skills Development,
•Prepare and present budgets to Board of Directors for approval and subsequent
transmission of the same to caretaker Ministries of Health and Education &
Skills Development,
•Provides timely reports to Board of Directors and caretaker Ministries of
Health and Education & Skills Development,
•Carries out any other duty as may be directed by Board of Directors and
caretaker Ministries of Health and Education & Skills Development to meet
the exigency of duty.

•Bachelors degree in any of the following;
– Education,
– Social Sciences,
– Humanities,
– Health Sciences
•Post graduate qualifications, experience working with People Living With
Disabilities and proven management record will be an added advantage,
•Three (3) years minimum experience as Supervisor, Manager and/ or Coordinator
in a comparable institution
