Scope’s mission is to support people with disabilities to achieve their potential in welcoming and inclusive communities. Scope’s Specialist Services team works alongside children and adults and their families and a wide range of community services, including kindergartens, disability organisations and community groups to support the active participation of people with disabilities.
Due to increasing demand and a current vacancy, Scope requires an additional Speech Pathologist to join our energetic team in Gippsland. All or part of the position will be with the Gippsland Regional Communication Service. This service works with people, organisations and businesses to gain greater community participation of people with communication difficulties. Speech pathologists in this service have the support of an experienced and committed team of speech pathologists located across Victoria.
Applications from experienced Speech Pathologists would be preferred. The position offers a diverse range of learning opportunities while providing individual therapy, group programs, behaviour support, project management and community development. This is a permanent position for 48- to 76-hours a fortnight.
Successful applicants will have the competencies necessary to support positive relationships and the learning of others. Current practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia, a driver’s licence and the ability to successfully work within a team environment are essential. Clinical support and training will be available.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Police Check for disability and a current Working with Children Check.
