Business Continuity Manager
(Selangor)

Job Description:
• The day to day management of Business Continuity Planning within countries.
• Liaising with business, operating and support departments and ensuring that Departmental Continuity Co-ordinators (DCCs) are appointed for every business department.
• Monitoring overall BC Planning requirements against actual recovery capability to ensure that plan objectives can be met. This includes IT system restore capability that must be agreed in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between business management and IT.
• Monitoring exercising of BC Plans by maintaining an exercise schedule for identified critical business functions.

Requirements:
• An understanding of Banking Operations and the Regulatory requirements governing Banking Operations.
• An understanding of the technological infrastructure and applications used in the Bank.
• An aptitude to acquire professional knowledge and educational accreditation in Business Continuity Planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Ability to analyse complex issues and translate these into clear and concise reports to facilitate decisions required from Senior Management.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and with a high degree of initiative.
• Computer literate, especially with MS Office.
• Preferably a person of professional standing with experience of both the technical and managerial aspects of Business Continuity, IT Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management planning
