SBI Canada is seeking a Customer Service Representative.

Position Summary:
Processes financial transactions for Bank’s clients. This position demonstrates knowledge and efficiency levels to optimize courteous and friendly counter service. In addition, this position is accountable for the proficient and accurate handling of transactions and handling of cash, ensuring adherence to the Bank’s security requirements and operating procedures.

Key Accountabilities:
Respond to client contacts, delivering fast, accurate and efficient service, assisting with financial transactions such as withdrawals, deposits, cheque cashing, money orders & transfers, bill payments, foreign currency exchange etc.
Assist clients by responding to routine inquiries; open & close accounts.
Resolve client problems at first point of contact where possible.
Adhere to compliance routines in carrying out transactions.

Ability to project a friendly and courteous image to the public
Sound knowledge of Bank policy relative to front line customer service operations
Strong organizational skills; the ability to handle cash, compile facts and figures
