Sasakawa Japanese Studies Postgraduate Studentship Programme

Cardiff
University is offering Sasakawa Postgraduate Research Studentships in Japanese
studies. This programme is open to students of all nationality for
2017 academic year.
The
aim of the PhD studentship is to enable and encourage academically able
students from any nationality.
Cardiff

among the top 100 universities in the world and top 20 in the UK.

Applicants
must hold a 2.1 degree at least, preferably in Japanese Studies. The candidate
must be able to use Japanese for conducting research.

Consideration
is automatic on applying for any postgraduate taught or postgraduate research
programme in the School of Modern Languages, with a start date of September
2017 via Cardiff University’s Online Application Service. In the research
proposal section of your application, please specify the project title and
supervisors of this project and copy the project description in the text box
provided. In the funding section, please select “I will be applying for a
scholarship / grant” and specify that you are applying for advertised funding
from the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation.
