Vacancy: Sales Manager – Exploration
Description:
The Sales manager – Exploration’s key responsibility is to manage the strategic and operational competitiveness of the sandvik Exploration range of products, encompassing sandvik Exploration Tools, Sandvik Geological Products and the Sandvik equipment offering for both surface and underground product lines throughout their life cycle into West Africa. This role includes developing, testing and expanding of sales into new and existing markets whilst implementing the rightmix of products into the market to ensure growth and market share gains are realized. In addition to this, the Sales Manager – Exploration will be responsible for the successful forecasting of quantities and market needs to ensure factory production and stock holdings are sufficient to meet the current and future needs, whilst maintain the relevant KPI’s as identified by the relevant manager.

Your profile:
. Engineering related qualifications and with 5 years experience in the sales and marketing of Engineering products, additional business related qualifications would be viewed as a distinct advantage.
. Good written and oral communications skills, proficiency in the French language would be viewed as a distinct advantage.
. Intermediate skills in MS Office Applications.
. Ability to work with different cultures and travel frequently throughout Ghana and West Africa.
. Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary matrix form team and provide guidance to members of the team.
. Good knowledge and understanding of Exploration and Geological product is required, and knowledge of the current West African market would be viewed as a distinct advantage.
. Possession of valid driver’s license.
. Willing and able to live and perform work and obtain work / residency permit in Ghana a must.
