The Rwandese Association of Local Government Authorities (RALGA) is recruiting a Driver.
Summary Responsibilities:
Under general supervision of the Administrative Officer, the Driver will operate vehicles to transport RALGA staff on official mission and will do related work as required. His/her duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Drive and operate RALGA Vehicles in transporting persons.
• Locate persons desiring service as indicated on the route sheet; drive them to their destination and return to pick them up at a designated time.
• Ensure that the vehicle is washed and vacuumed and deliver it to the garage for repair and major maintenance work.
• Perform vehicle pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• May perform daily routing scheduling, and route assignment duties, as assigned.
• Complete incident and accident report forms as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Possession of category B and D valid Driving permit;
2. Holder of A level Certificate or equivalent;
3. Knowledge of basic Vehicle Mechanics;
4. Should posses Computer Skills;
5. Should have at least between 25 and 40 years of Age;
6. Should have five years of experience in similar work;
7. Should be ready to start work immediately;
8. Should be a person of integrity;
9. Should be fluent in Kinyarwanda and English. Knowledge of French language would be an added advantage.
