USC’s Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, USC Shoah Foundation
Institute is seeking a Project Administrator to join its team.

The Rwandan Educational Administrator will report to the Program Manager,
International Projects. They will work with the staff of the USC Shoah
Foundation and the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. This position will also
work closely with the IW Manager. The position is responsible for the
educational leadership of IWitness in Rwanda.

This position will support the Program Manager, International Projects, the
Director of Education and the KGMC Director in managing DFID Project
specifically. The primary focus of this position will be providing project
management of the DFID project, including defining activities in IWitness,
curating and choosing testimony, working with archival and educational staffs
in all organizations. They will have an in-depth understanding of the theory
and pedagogy that supports effective testimony-based education as well as
strong digital and media literacy skills. They will also have appropriate
disciplinary content expertise as well as a deep knowledge of the emerging and
current trends in new media literacies. Class room teaching experience is an
asset.



Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Master’s degree
Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience
Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related
education and project administration experience in specialized field
represented by project.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Doctorate
Preferred Experience: – 3 to 5 years project
management experience
– Experience with the Rwanda educational system
– Experience working with Visual History
– Experience working with Genocide Studies
– Experience in digital media education
– Classroom teaching experience
– Experience working with the Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive
– Ability to travel
Preferred Field of Expertise: – Fluency in
Kinyarwanda
