Job Title: General Manager Finance & Support Services
Department: Finance & Support Services
Reporting: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Key Tasks:
Production of financial accounts and annual report and accounts
Participate as a member of negotiation team in aircraft purchase and lease agreement.
Responsible for financial analysis for aircraft to be leased or purchased.
Negotiate company in-service contracts.
Ensure effective control and management of cash
Control of revenue accounting process and reporting
Financial analysis and business case production.
Coordinate development of 5 year business plan.
Coordinate and manage the annual budget preparation and its implementation
Budget and management of 5 year business plan
Ensure effective and efficient procurement processes are in place.
Management of IT and delivery of effective and efficient systems and processes
Efficient management of administration functions
Authorities:
Set accounting processes and authority levels
Recommend staffing levels
Highlight variances to plan
Manage team in an efficient and effective manner
Accountability:
Meet manpower and cost targets
Report in a timely and accurate way
Ensure all departments receive appropriate support for their part of the business
Deliver IT solutions
Ensure cost effective procurement
Challenge the business constructively and offer potential solutions
Represent the company to third parties e.g. lessors, bankers
