Job Details
1. Main Responsibilities:
• Provide day to day management of the construction work at site..
• Develop and plan construction work and ensure speedy completion
• Prepare material requirements and ensure availability of materials at site to prevent delays. Ensure maintenance of proper records and utilization of materials.
• Ensure maximum utilization of skilled and unskilled workers and maintain proper attendance records
• Provide guidelines and instructions to site personnel regarding all constructions activities ensuring quality workmanship and good practices including safety.
• Manage project schedules and ensure work completion on time.
• Be the link between the company and consultant , constructors and/or supplies ;
• Formulate, document and report periodically on status of project at hand.
• Be the link between the company and the third party stakeholders be it communities , public officials or regulatory agencies.
1. 2. Minimum Responsibility:
• Degree in any the disciplines: (I) Civil Engineering; (II) Structural Engineering or project engineering.
• 5 years Experience, 2 of which must as site engineer of a building construction project preferably with a steel structure component. Should have ability to read Drawing and plans and give instructions to site personnel accordingly.
• Special skills/ competencies: High level of integrity, good interpersonal/Communication skills; ability to control site labor and site supervisory staff. Work planning / skills; ability to work under pressure ability to work in a team negotiation Skills.
