Rwanda government has joined its voice to brand CNN as a “Fake News” media. In their recent attack on CNN they refer to CNN as a news media who deliberately broadcast African news with a bias narrative.
Below is the detail of Rwanda’s narrative of what CNN is:
President Donald Trump repeatedly referred to CNN as “Fake News.”
The fake news channel is now turning its attention to Rwanda, claiming that no self-respecting media can consider making without fear of the credibility of their organization. But CNN doesn’t seem to be at all concerned about the credibility of its news and can’t even bother to check out some of its platform’s absurd allegations.
The US-based press house in warm water at home has just released a tale with a sensational title for attempting to affect US voters with one-sided news. “opposition members keep going ‘missing’ in Rwanda. Few expect to return.”
The situation is someone who seems to be a politician of an unregistered Rwandan political party.
This reporting pattern leaves a lot to be desired. There is no registered political party known as DFU-Inkingi in Rwanda and it is a mockery of CNN’s audience’s intelligence to refer to it as some kind of legitimate political actor within Rwanda.
Second, it would serve the audience of CNN better knowing that the political platform of FDU Inkingi has never been registered for its infestation with denial of genocide, divisionism and violent activity.
Victoire Ingabire, the leader of this “political party,” is a convicted criminal for the very accusations of terrorist abetting. And this is not the proof against her from Rwanda. Much of the evidence on which she was convicted came from the Netherlands government, which was equally convinced that Ms. Ingabire was actually involved in the activities that she was accused of by the prosecution.
Without the slightest fact checks and due diligence of a severe media organisation, CNN propagates Ingabire’s fabrications. CNN would have been disclosed by the easiest due diligence that they were dealing with the KKK’s American equivalent.
Instead of doing their work as journalists, they are running a tale that depicts Rwanda as a location where members of the opposition disappear in thin air. Unwilling to differentiate between a political party and a subversive movement, CNN paints a false picture of a humble democracy with particular safeguards resulting from its particular context: 25 years ago, Rwanda endured a genocide against Tutsis that murdered more than a million people in a hundred days.
For a hundred days, nearly 10, 000 people were murdered every day. That’s the equivalent of getting three 9/11 days of American tragedy per day for 100 days or 333 days!
America reacted – and for excellent reason – with legislation that forever altered that country’s face. America followed terrorists in the “war on terror” from every corner of the globe.
Similarly, Rwanda laid down legislation for a nation that has altered forever after the genocide. However, perpetrators of genocide shifted to denial of genocide masquerading as activists for human rights or democracy.
They establish subversive organisations like FDU Inkingi to conceal their true intentions, deny the genocide against Tutsis and, if possible, complete their program of eradication.
Would CNN carelessly run a tale of the missing leaders of al-qaeda? Even 18 years on, it would simply not be acceptable.
The reality is that somewhere on the battlefield they would be assumed by CNN, plotting the next assault.
The leaders of the FDU that CNN is so fast to call missing are frequently arrested in Congo, plotting a comeback in combat uniform.
CNN also fails to report that self-proclaimed leaders have been reported missing in global media such as the BBC on many occasions only for them to reappear somewhere mobilizing terror assistance.
Just last year another of these “opposition politicians” named Cassien Ntamuhanga fled from prison in Rwanda and was reported as yet another “disappearance.” Less than three months later, Cassien appeared on an opposition TV and radio interview channel bragging about his exploits breaking out of prison in Rwanda’s Alcatraz equivalent!
These facts are too public to be missed by CNN, but their title would have crumbled without sensationalism for Fake News ‘ makers!
Those who murdered 1 million, those who deny the crime are mere members of the political opposition, as long as those murdered are Africans, CNN can make a profit while claiming to be a reliable media house.
President Trump was correct: CNN, the Fake News channel, shame on you!
