RECRUITMENT
NOTICE
In
collaboration with Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), the Rwanda civil Society
Platform (RCSP) is implementing the Public Policy Information Monitoring and
Advocacy project, phase three       (P

PIMA III).

The
objective of the project is to increase the RCSP and citizens participation in
the formulation and the implementation of national and local policies and
plans.
 In
the framework of the project, RCSP is recruiting a highly qualified and
motivated project coordinator.

Supervisor: Executive Secretary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure
    that the project implementation is in conformity with NPA and RCSP’s
    standards and policies;
  • Design
    and coordinate  the project activities implementation  plan;
  • Ensure
    adequate sharing of information between different actors of the project;
  • Develop
    project narrative reports in accordance with the reporting requirements;
  • Collect
    evidences and success stories to make the project visible;
  • Monitor
    all activities; provide regular reports and updates to the Executive
    Secretary.

  • Strong
    leadership, Initiative spirit and supervisory skills;
  • Ability
    to work individually and within a team with minimum supervision;
  • Good
    analytical, problem solving and project planning skills;
  • Ability
    to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external
    stakeholders. This includes effective negotiation and representation
    skills;
  • Computer
    knowledge
  • Strong
    skills in monitoring and evaluation;
  • Strong
    command of both written and spoken Kinyarwanda and full professional
    proficiency in English. Ability to work in other languages used in the
    region is an added value;
  • Excellent
    community mobilization skills.
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hold
    at least a Bachelor’s degree in political science, Project management,
    Business Administration, Social sciences and other related fields. A
    relevant master’s degree is an added value;
  • Having
    a professional experience of 4 years, including at least 2 years in
    Program designing, Project Management/implementation, or working on donor
    funded projects;
  • Demonstrate
    capacity to work pro-actively with partners;
  • Knowledge
    on the Rwandan Civil Society is an advantage.
