POSITION
SUMMARY:
SUMMARY:
The
Member Services Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director
General and will undertake tasks related to promoting membership and
Chamber/Associations’ programs. S/he will ensure excellent service delivery to
members and potential members. S/he will ensure accurate and comprehensive
collection and reporting of information related to member services activities
to the Chamber Director General. S/he is expected to adhere to PSF code of
conduct and ethics.

ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

- Provide
support for assigned events, trade fairs, roadshows, trainings and
workshops - Responsible
for membership increase and member retention programs - Build
and maintain relationship with members and schedule visits to members’
offices - Register
all members, ensure their profiles are registered/updated in the database
and COT/Associations’ websites - Analysis
of issues affecting member business activities and propose solutions - Advocate
and liaise with various stakeholders on member issues - Create
and post all paid invoices for membership - Create
invoices or due letters/emails to members and mail merge to appropriate
accounts - Create
and distribute member correspondences for COT/Associations’
President(s)/DG’s signature - Design
member benefits and membership kits - Continuously
develop member benefits - Propose
strategic partnerships for the benefit of COT/Associations and members - Weekly
reporting on member services activities - Handle
any other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS
AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong
communication skills - Ability
to set priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent
interpersonal and problem solving skills - Minimum
2 years of proven experience in business functions: administration, public
relations, customer service in tourism, travel, hospitality or a related
field - Bachelor’s
Degree in Travel and Tourism Management, Business Administration or a
related field - Strong
computer skills and use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, among others - Fluency
in both English and Kinyarwanda is compulsory. Knowledge of French will be
an added value - Knowledge
of social media and other web marketing technologies (e.g. targeting
Facebook posts and Google analytics)
