However, EDC is in the process of extending project activities in the rural zones, specifically in the Southern and Western provinces. To help accomplish these activities, Akazi Kanoze works with a range of implementing partners (IPs) who provide support in such areas as training, access to finance, internships, and job placements.
EDC would like to recruit for the following positions:
– Rural Zone Coordinator – Based in Huye District.
Minimum qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experienced manager within the education and training sector or a youth development related field;
• Demonstrated experience working with USAID projects;
• Fluency in English.
– Finance and Administrative assistant – Based in Huye District-
Minimum qualifications include:
• Possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration;
• Demonstrated experience in finance and administration management;
• Knowledge of basic procurement and logistics procedures;
• Good command of Microsoft Excel, 2 years experience working with USAID funded projects, Fluency in English.
– Field Officer (3 positions) – Based in Districts of Southern Province.
Minimum qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent with at least 2 years experience working with youth;
• Experience working with USAID funded projects;
• Having completed the Work Readiness training;
• Strong communication and reporting skills;
• Good command of computer (Microsoft Word , Excel, Power Point and Internet);
• Possession of a valid driving license “class A”.
– Driver (2 positions: one based in Kigali, another one based in Huye)-
Minimum qualifications include:
• Driving license class B with experience of at 5 years with International NGOs;
• Proven knowledge of mechanics; good English and / or French communication skills;
• high-school degree.
– Office Helper/ Cleaner – Based in Huye District.
Minimum qualifications include:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience;
• Able to communicate in Kinyarwanda, English and / or French;
• Able to keep office clean and neat.
