We are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails developer to get stuck into the ongoing development and direction of our suite of web applications.
You should have at least 2 years of general commercial web application development experience, with a solid base in Ruby on Rails.
Experience in developing and deploying SAAS applications will be a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in the following:
• SQL (MySQL)
• HTML/CSS
• Javascript / AJAX
• Ruby on Rails
Experience / knowledge in the following areas is desired:
• Understanding of the complete web application development process, W3C standards, and the ability to learn and implement new web technologies
• *nix Server Administration
• Version Control Systems – GIT
• Database design and analysis
• Performance optimisation
• Deployment of web applications
• Development methodologies (e.g. Agile)
Relevant qualifications will be highly regarded, but most importantly NetEngine is seeking someone with practical experience, and someone who has worked in a team environment.
