Right To Play Rwanda Project Coordinator Job Vacancy in Rwanda


I. Background

Right To Play is committed to improving the lives of Children and to
strengthening their communities by translating the Best practices of sport and
Play into opportunities to promote development, Health and Peace.
Right To Play would like to fill these above described vacant positions for its
project based in Rubavu:

II.PROJECT COORDINATOR/ Location : Gisenyi ( Rubavu District)

II.1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

The Project Coordinator (PC) will be responsible of :

1.  Coordinating and managing the implementation of Right To Play
activities in the Rubavu District and will be based at the Gisenyi Office. The
incumbent will be directly supervised by the Program Manager.
2. Building the capacity of Right To Play partners, enhancing Right To Play
overall public image, supporting Right To Play in achieving its goals in
Rwanda, donor reporting and proposal development, organizing and implementing
workshops, adult education training, budget development and monitoring, working
with children and youth to promote their holistic development.

II.2.QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education/ Training/ Certificate:

Desired: A Master’s degree preferably in Social Sciences, Development Studies,
project management or other disciplines relevant to Right To Play focus areas
(Education, Sports, Health/HIV, Child Protection,…or with extensive experience
with NGOs.

B. Experience and Core Competencies

Required : Strong training and facilitation skills; Background in adult
education is preferred – Participation in sport and play; experience leading
organized activities for children – Personal sport and activity background with
coaching experience – Proven experience in Result based project management;
including research and strategy, planning, and financial management – Proven
experience in training and motivating staff;

Desired: Experience in working with partner organizations, with I/NGOs –
Previous experience in social works and / or Refugee Camps

A.KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS: Fluency in French, English and Kinyarwanda –
Written and verbal communication skills, and confidence using these in a cross
cultural environment – Effective reporting, writing and analytical skills – Computer
literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
