In this role you will:
• Develop and deliver a modernised high quality service, enabling our clients to gain all necessary work experience and training
• Manage finances, change, performance and people
• Facilitate and oversee smooth running of the horticultural activities and commercial contracts
• Manage contracts with funders as well as develop new funding streams for existing work and new opportunities
• Deliver budget and business plans
• Lead, develop, motivate and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of staff and volunteers
• Promote our culture of inclusion and involvement
To join us as Service Manager, you should:
• Have a background in health/social care
• Be a commercially aware manager of finances, business, people and change
• Have experience of working with people who are disadvantaged in the labour market
• Possess sensitivity as well as determination
• Have a creative, flexible and resourceful approach to problem solving
• Be an excellent networker with good communication skills
• Advice and Guidance qualification as well as experience/interest in horticulture would be an advantage
