Job Description The Retail Manager is a key part of the senior team driving the business growth for the business for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines mainly.
Key areas of responsibility:
– Analyse supply/demand gaps and execute action plans to improve the conversion and profit per shopper for the existing product lines.
– Analyse market demand to identify new revenue pools and work to launch new product lines.
– Handle customer comments and fix bugs with respected SLA.
– Conduct analyses to prioritize scarce resources in light of strategic initiatives
– Develop detailed financial models and valuation scenarios for potential business development and partnership opportunities
Success Criteria / Qualifications:
– Demonstrated sense of ownership of projects and the ability to structure questions and options to overcome obstacles when they arise.
– Very strong business acumen, attention to detail
– Strong influencing and networking skills, resulting in effective working relationships with other teams
– Team player. Ability to become a trusted partner and key contact person within a matrix and complex organization.
– Outstanding analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
– Extensive experience in the tourism and/or travel industry, ideally with knowledge of the SEA markets
– Excellent communications and leadership skills
– Demonstrated ability to work autonomous and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under a deadline
– Multiple SE Asian language capabilities a strong advantage
– University Degree ; an MBA degree is preferred
