Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management Analyst Job Vacancy in Rwanda

Our client is a leading Telecommunication Company in Rwanda and is seeking to recruit result driven and motivated individuals for the vacancies below:

Job Objective:
To analyze, create and improve the end-to-end assurance of revenue stream provisioning, POS, Network,
Billing & collections within a controls environment of the company. To develop and monitor controls that help prevent and reduce revenue loss within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing a Revenue Assurance and Fraud Roadmap identifying Strengths, Weaknesses, threats and opportunities within the current platforms being used.
• Work with the HOD to develop and implement a Revenue Assurance and Fraud Strategy aligned to the Group RAFM strategy.
• Establish control policies and procedures for all areas of risk and revenue loss.
• Update a risk register for all identified and potential risks.
• Define and implement control procedures to mitigate identified risks and revenue loss scenarios.
• Comprehend the Change management strategy.
• Review and analyse configuration of new products and changes on production systems before implementation.
• Develop and implement adequate test scripts for commercial initiatives and other revenue impacting configuration before roll out.
• Analyse impact and feasibility and risk assessment of all proposed configuration changes.
• Evaluate current Key Result Areas (KRAS) and Key Performance Indicators Systems (KPIS) to measure efficiency.
• Implement new KPIS to address newly identified risks especially those inherent to the environment.
• Ensure 24/7 Fraud monitoring team to assist in the mitigation of fraudulent attacks outside of business hours.
• Implement KPIS which monitor billing accuracy of all existing bill plans as well as new commercial initiatives.
• Create and monitor an Revenue Assurance (RA) and Fraud Activity Universe.
• Implement new adaptors within the revenue assurance tool to enable the new reconciliations and KPIS.
• Upgrade to the current Revenue Assurance tool for increase performance and web based application utilization.
• Implement an automated fraud Management application to increase the coverage of the fraud scope.
• Implement an automated test call generator to enable reduce the manual effort in the current testing process.
• Implement a daily test call set to mimic subscriber behavior to measure Call Data Record (CDR) completion of generation, Service assurance..
• Ensure all anomalies are investigated, resolved and closed with acceptable feedback and required changes and controls are initiated and implemented by responsible departments and analysts.
• Provide interface during top priority investigations especially to National Security Agency and CID.
• Update theRevenue Assurance and Fraud reporting dashboard for all KPIS.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner as prescribed by management and Group RAFM.
• Report on all revenue loss and fraud incidents to management

Necessary Qualifications:
• University Degree in business or related field.
• At least 2 – 3 years leadership experience.
• 3+ years Revenue Assurance or IT experience with Functional knowledge of standard GSM Network.
• Data analysis, data modelling and statistical skills.
• ACL/SQL knowledge.
• Proven ability to analyse complex business issues and identify, design and implement effective practical recommendations.
• Able to handle, prioritize, multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of English and common local languages.
• 3+ years financial, operational, and information technology experience with a telecommunications service provider, preferably in a GSM environment.
• Experience and exposure to telecommunications products, services, rates, tariffs, regulations, service level agreements, and interconnection agreements and contracts preferably come from a Big 5 telecommunications consulting/audit background.
• Experience and exposure with order provisioning, customer care, usage processing and telecommunications billing processes, systems and interfaces.
• Experience and exposure with carrier access and reciprocal compensation billing processes, procedures and systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively using both verbal and written communication channels.
• Ability to work within a team of professionals, guiding and coordinating towards achieving common objectives as well as organize and facilitate brainstorming sessions.
• Ability to see the global and detailed view and adapt accordingly.
