Windfall Ecology Centre is seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to be facilitators for our Green Career Training Program, REpower Ontario.
REpower Ontario orients, trains, and connects eager participants with employment and self-employment opportunities in the new green economy. This program empowers participants to recognize existing aptitudes and passions while identifying how to transition those skills to build a career within the green economy.
Through unique learning activities and methodologies, REpower Ontario integrates the areas of renewable energy, water, social innovation and community development. It provides the opportunity for creative personal planning towards a green career.

Some qualities we are looking for in applicants are:
– a contagious joy of life

– excellent public speaking skills
– facilitation/teaching experience
– acts as a resource person for the community (is the go to person)
– knowledgeable in the green economy and the environment
– practical and concrete facilitation/education techniques
– creative and engaging in a group dynamic.
– highly organized and professional
– ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
– comfortable using computers and online conferencing programs.
This is a contract position (part-time) and would include: researching and updating course content, preparation of course materials, delivery/facilitation of the course and attend team meetings as required.
The course is delivered in class as full day sessions for 5 days and part-time in the evenings online.
