The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:
Registrar
The Registrar will provide clinical care to patients in the outreach centers based in Meru and Nyeri and supervise junior doctors. S/he will provide emergency support to ensure optimal delivery of quality patient care.
Applicants must have a Master of Medicine Degree and be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Board.
Ultrasonographer
The Ultrasonographer will ensure the provision of ultrasound imaging services within laid down standard operating policies and protocols.
Applicants should have a Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent and a Certificate or Postgraduate training in the field of Ultrasound Imaging. S/he should have a minimum of one year working experience in an Ultrasound related position.
Fire and Safety Officer
The Fire & Safety Officer will enforce fire safety legislation through risk based assessment working with other relevant partners to achieve a safe working environment. S/he will be responsible for designing/updating fire and safety prevention management plans, policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
Applicants must have a Degree in Sciences and/or Higher Diploma in Engineering related field and undergone training in fire and safety from a recognized institution. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years experience in fire/safety systems and certification in occupational health.
