Our client is a leading
Telecommunication Company in Rwanda and is seeing to recruit a result driven
and motivated individual for the above vacancy:
Job purpose:
To facilitate and implement
HR strategy at the zone / region in conjunction with the regional/ zonal
business managers using consultative and influencing skills in order to hire,
retain, engage and develop best in class talent in the zone /region.
Responsibilities:
- Handle talent
 hiring for the zone
- Liaison with
 job consultants
- Decide
 Recruitment mix
- Manage
 Recruitment Budgets
- Implementation
 of HR interventions across the region to ensure employee engagement
- Implement
 Culture Change processes
- Act as
 employee champion in respective functional area/region
- Facilitate
 Employee Relations in the assigned functional area/region
- Conduct the
 Performance Management process within group of assigned responsibility
- Facilitate and
 guide various stakeholders on corrective actions, grievances, conflicts
 and disciplinary procedures
- Facilitate
 development of assigned group’s structure in Line with Headcount
 Management and Organizational guideline
- Conduct trends
 and report analysis on various HR indices
- Provide employee
 information as required by HR support functions, internal and external
 audit.
- Support Line
 managers in building people capacity and performance
- Monitor HR
 Budget to be in line with the AOP
- Introduce cost
 effective and cost savings measures
- Do Root cause
 analysis and identify reasons for variations
Qualifications:
- First degree
 in Human Resources/Behavioral Sciences
- A professional
 qualification of CIPMN, CIPD, SHRM is desirable
- 5 -7years
 Human Resources experience in a multinational business environment in an
 HR Generalist role
- Experience
 working with organizational leaders to define and execute HR strategies
 linked to organizational goals
- Solid
 problem-solving and business acumen skills Proven organizational
 development, performance management and employee relations skills
- Must demonstrate
 interpersonal savvy with the ability to maneuver through complex
 situations effectively while building constructive relationships
- Ability to
 build partnerships in a matrix organizational environment along with providing
 coaching/counseling to all levels within the organization
- Able to work
 on a broad variety of projects
- Problem-solving
 and business acumen skills
- Strong level
 of influence and negotiation skills
- Able to work
 efficiently as a team member
- Must be
 Rwandan
