Help build an energy efficient, eco-friendly house in Ottawa!
We’re seeking a Red Seal Carpenter to assist in the construction of a
timber frame “Passive House
This will be an energy-efficient Passive House, one of the first of
its kind in Canada, although there are many in Europe. The vision is
to be the “common man’s” passive house — super energy efficient,
beautiful and comfortable, yet affordable. It’s a 1400 sqft home on
the outskirts of Ottawa, surrounded by nature.
You will be working with a skilled team including timber framers,
artisan carpenters and a certified passive house designer.
Required: Red Seal certificate for General Carpenter.
No previous experience with Passive Houses is needed.
