Real Food for Real Kids (RFRK) is a trailblazing all-natural catering company for kids in childcare centres, schools and camps. We cook and deliver delicious meals and snacks to over 7,000 kids across the GTA every day. Our food is made fresh from scratch using only natural ingredients, with as much local and organic food as possible.
About the Childcare Right-Hand Wo/Man:
We’re looking for someone extraordinary. An engaging, fun, and quick-on-their-feet people-person to join our core Childcare Client Relations team.
The ideal Childcare Right-Hand Wo/Man is instinctively customer-service oriented, has solid communication skills, and is confident in uncharted waters. You also radiate positivity and have experience in roles requiring excellent judgment.
Whether you’re organizing files for nearly 200 childcare centres, or fielding calls from parents at the end of their ropes, you do so with ease, foresight, and great care.
The Responsibilities:
• Field questions and solve problems from clients with impressive calm and clarity.
• Handle the daily behind-the-scenes data entry.
• Handle the admin to ship our monthly menus to childcare centres.
• Become an expert on RFRK values, philosophy, menu, and service.
• Help out with other tasks related to our childcare service, as needed.
Skills required:
• Excellent people skills and sensitivity to people’s needs
• Enthusiasm and energy
• Sound judgment and comfort working autonomously
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude when everything goes wrong
• Ability to be handle a million details in a complex environment
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Comfortable working with MS Office, Macs, and databases
• Ability to play well with others
