Our client is
seeking our help to recruit 6 Primary Level Teachers for their Aurukun campus.
The Aurukun campus is part of the Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy
(CYAAA). The Academy aims to close the academic achievement gap between
Indigenous and mainstream students and to support Cape York’s children
bi-cultural identity. The campus uses the 5C education model; Childhood, Class,
Club, Culture and Community, which include programs rich in local culture,
music, art, physical and outdoor education, with a strong attention to student
welfare and personal development.
Teaching Roles
available:
1. Early
childhood/primary (Prep to year 3) – Permanent position
2. Physical
Education (Primary) – Temporary until 2/12/2016
3-5. General Primary
(4 to 7) – Permanent position
6. Music (Primary)
Requirements
for these positions:
– Queensland College
of Teachers (QCT) registration
– 2 years experience
preferred
– willingness and
desire to make a real difference to young people’s lives
