are currently looking for a highly skilled Pre-sales consultant to join their
Perth operations. This is a permanent role to be based in the CBD and will
involve some expenses paid travel to other WA sites as required.
The purpos
e of your role is to help facilitate the company growth in the WA
market. This will include: driving product sales as consulting lead of the
account team. This will come through a combination of identification of
customer needs and development of integration solutions that create technical
and business value for customers.
Your duties will include:
• Use your extensive knowledge of Perth based companies to establish strong
relationships during the entire sales-cycle with prospective customers and
clients.
• Develop and maintain the company’s “Trusted Advisor” status with
customers by identifying customer business objectives and implementing
pre-sales demonstrations/ proof-of-concepts/ pilots that showcases the ability
to meet the customers’ needs.
• Provide strong hands-on technical skills and knowledge of my client’s
extensive list of products.
• Assist in the development and sales support of channel partners so that they
become integral part of the effective sales team to generate target revenue.
Your skills must include:
• Strong architecture skills and expertise with complex distributed integration
solutions, including Messaging, EAI, BPM, Portals etc.
• Track record of successful software-sales pre-sales engagements with major
customers, especially in FSI, telecommunications, manufacturing, government,
mining and retail industries.
• Strong business analysis and consulting skills, including strong verbal and
written communication skills and effective time management skills.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to develop product demonstrations and present to business and
technical users, including proven software programming skills.
• Experience as consultant to different levels of customer organizations,
including technical experts and architects, business analysts and project
managers, as well as C-suite executives.
• Hands-on expertise in industry standards: Web Services, XML/XSLT/SPATH, JMS,
J2EE, .Net, HTML, JavaScript, B2B protocols.
• Track record of working across multiple hardware environments, UNIX/Linux,
Windows.

to $150,000 +super +commission).
Please note: This role is only open to those with a proven track record in
Pre-sales consulting and is highly sales focussed. It would not suit someone
who is purely technical with no sales experience.
