Queen’s University Belfast and INTO Queen’s
University Belfast, UK offers international diploma scholarship. These
scholarships are available to all international students applying for the INTO
Queen’s University Belfast International Diploma program in the following
pathways: International Diploma in Engineering and International Diploma in
Management & Finance. English language proficiency is required. For
September 2013 intake, applications should be submitted online till 8th July
2013.

Course Level: This scholarship is for pursuing International Diploma
program.

Eligibility: -All
international fee-paying students with two ‘D’ grades from a UK A level board
or equivalent.
-Students must have a minimum English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS
5.5 with no less than IELTS 5.5 or equivalent in reading and writing elements.
-Students must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the International
Diploma program. Engineering pathway: Applicants who have studied Maths and
Physics to the Equivalent of A Level Grade ‘D’.
-Management & Finance pathway: Applicants must have a minimum of grade ‘C’
in Mathematics or equivalent.
-EU international students are also eligible.

Scholarship Description: Queen’s University Belfast and INTO Queen’s University Belfast invite
applications for the INTO Queen’s University Belfast International Diploma
Scholarship. The scholarship has been created to assist international
fee-paying students who are eligible for study on either pathway of the
International Diploma program. These scholarships are available to all
international students applying for the INTO Queen’s University Belfast
International Diploma program.
Number of award(s): Three scholarships awards are offered at Queen’s University Belfast.
What does it cover? Successful applicants will receive a scholarship worth £6,725 which will
be deducted from their International Diploma tuition fees. Upon successful
completion (and subject to achieving specified grades for entry), students
entering degree programmes at Queen’s University Belfast will receive a further
£6,725(which will be deducted from the university’s Year 2 tuition fees). Value
of award is £13,450.
Notification: Only
scholarships applications received before or by this date will be considered.
Successful candidates will be notified no later than two weeks after the
deadline has passed.
How to Apply: Complete
an INTO Queen’s University Belfast academic course application form. These
scholarships are only available to students who have submitted a course
application and have received an offer. The completed course application form
should be returned to INTO Admissions along with copies of your academic
transcripts and evidence of current English language level.
In addition to completing a course application form, applicants must complete
an INTO Queen’s University Belfast International Diploma Scholarship
application form including a personal statement explaining why you want to
study at Queen’s University Belfast and how the degree program will help you in
the future. The personal statement must be hand-written in English and be no
less 200 words and no more than 500 words. An application and personal
statement form is included at the bottom of this announcement. Applicants may
submit information and evidence of additional achievements in support of their
application.
-All scholarship applications must be complete with both academic and English
language transcripts and should be submitted to c.guiney-at-qub.ac.uk.
Scholarship Application Deadline: The deadline for applications for the September 2013 intake is Monday
8th July 2013.
