Quality Chemical Industries Ltd Electrical Engineer -Trainee Job Vacancy in Uganda

Quality Chemical Industries Ltd (QCIL) is a pharmaceutical plant, producing anti-retroviral and anti-malarial drugs at Luzira Industrial Park in Uganda. QCIL is a joint venture between Quality Chemicals Ltd-a local drug distribution company and CIPLA Ltd- a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer from India.

QCIL is looking for professionally confident, self-motivated, and committed team players to reinforce their capacity by filling the following vacant positions:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER-TRAINEE (01)
Reports to the Engineering Manager

The Main Roles Include:
• Monitoring and controlling power plant operations, maintenance and documentation
• Supervising of electrical projects; both in-house and by contractors
• Supervising of calibration works and validation of electrical and electronic systems
• Overseeing optimum usage of power within the factory

Job requirement

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Should be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of one [01] year’s demonstrable experience in the field of electrical engineering in an industrial set up.
