We are looking for a LABORATORY MANAGER
The main responsibility of the laboratory manager is to supervise to Projet Ubuzima´s laboratory, S/he will ensure that laboratory procedures are planned, executed, documented, and quality controlled in clinical research projects in line with contractual agreement(s), protocol, ICH Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) guidelines, relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other relevant guidelines and legislation, under the supervision of the Projet Ubuzima Director. S/he is also expected to supervise laboratory staff employed by the site and take active part in multidisciplinary study teams.
We are looking for a Laboratory Manager with a university degree in life science a minimum of three (3) years of work experience after graduating from university and experience with in laboratory management. The candidate should be fluent in English (due to the international research environment), have a good knowledge of report writing and be skilled in word processing and use of Excel spreadsheets. Having an initiative spirit and a strong interest in HIV prevention are considerate an advantage.
