The Mississauga office is recruiting for the position of Project Manager, Building Performance for the Sustainability & Building Sciences Group. The overall responsibilities for this position include:
Responsibilities:
• Re-Retro-Commissioning, Building Sustainability Audits and Green Building Certification Building Condition Assessments, Reserve Fund Studies.
• Client Development and Marketing.
• Supervising, Training and mentoring of junior staff, including reviewing of written work.
• Maintaining and enhancing quality control within the group.
• Inspecting, designing and administering remedial work.
• Preparing reports, summarizing data and creating CAD drawings.
• Financial Involvement in Projects.
• Any other job related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
• A college diploma in the field related to Building Performance is required. A Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering related to Building Performance is preferred.
• Experience in Project Management and Building Operations and Systems Optimization is required.
• Experience in leading Building Capital Planning, Maintenance Planning, Re/Retro-Commissioning and (LEED and BESt) Green Building Certification is preferred.
• Licensed professional in respective discipline (P.Eng); however, LEED Accredited Professional is preferred.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and shall possess a high level of oral and written communication skills which are essential to the position. This position requires work related travel. Therefore, a valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work-related travel expenses will be compensated).
